Open Library night coming up!floor map activity with Grades 6-8 and 12sThis Friday, Grades 6-8 and Grade 12 students will be participating in a floor map exercise to learn about indigenous education.This resource will assist our students in understanding the past, present and future of Indigenous Peoples in Canada. There is a wealth of information and diversity of stories and voices on this map; however, we recognize that no resource will ever be able to encompass all Indigenous voices and stories. This is in an interactive activity that will take place in the gym. The floor map will cover the entire gymnasium floor and students will be guided through indigenous stories and learn about relevant geographical information relating to indigenous history.
